This baby will be #3 for us. (DS, DD and this on is a girl). We initially were satisfied with 2 children especially since we had one of each. Then I got wishing for another and DH was fine with it. I remember the conversation clearly. "I think I want to have another baby." "Sure.ok" me-"you're suppossed to talk me out of it." Lol! Lo and behold I am here and since I'm having a repeat section was offered a tubal ligation option. I talked to DH. He is 40 and I'm 33. He feels like having a 4th would be hard because he'd be like 60 when the kid graduates high school. I can see his point, so we're going to go for the tubal ligation. Any one else going through with a tubal?

I thought about it since I am also done and getting a c-section.

Norther KY hospitalized are all associated with a main catholic hospital so permanant birth control has to be done across the river or in an office.

Sunni, I'm not worried about the recovery, I heard that it a lot of times causes you to kind of go crazy.

I do agree with you about the lack of credible sources, and honestly I was ready to do it with no qualms.
