What's your take on colors?

So I was planning on getting the Chicco Double Stroller which is Red and Dark Grey and then I have a friend who is going to give me her infant car seat which is grey and orange - I have a son now and expecting another son and I thought the colors are fine for boys - my in laws say its not okay for boys to have those colors
Whats your opinion?
I think grey/red and grey/orange are just perfect for little boys; in fact I think
I don't know why they think grey/orange or grey/red are not for boys, i think they are just the right colors for a little boy, if u love it, i say go for it.
I thought those colors would be fine for my sons and my husvand and I plan to try for one more after this one is born so if we had a girl i thought i could save some $$ and it would be fine for a girl too
i don't understand why they think that either. i thought it would work fine.. afterall its more for us than it is for our babies lol
thanks everyone for the encouragement!
I fail to see how red and orange are inappropriate boy colours, unless there's some meaning behind it (e.g. in some cultures, red symbolises death...but then they'd be inappropriate colours, period).
I think those colors are perfect for boys!! In fact Adelaides infant seat (Britax Chaperone) is Red, Grey and Black. I think that is too boyish. SOOOO I am going to try to find a more girly cover from Britax for her. I think your in laws need to get over it, OR like PP said they can buy you something they feel more "suitable".
Those are definitely boy colors.
You know I've oftten wondered what the big deal was over diaper bags for that
