There's kind of an interesting discussion going on in one of the other EC boards about when people expect to have their babies and I just wondered, when do you expect to have your LO and why do you think that?

I either would like to go at 38 weeks of beyond my due date. I'm not going to schedule an induction unless it's indicated, but spring semester starts on Jan 10th and I'm due on the 13th. So I'd like to go slightly earlier so I can go to school on the first day, or have my baby towards the end of that week so I can be at school on the first day and tell my professor, "Look, I'm gonna pop this week, so I might not be here for a while."
With DS, I kept telling him that he better get here on his due date, April 10th, because I had papers and homework due right before my due date. And he sure behaved himself, even though I had PTL, and he arrived on his due date! I hope this next one will behave himself as well :P

For some reason as a FTM I just assumed based on what people say that our LO will be late. I don't mind the little thing being late, I just want to avoid being induced.

Nooo! I'd do lots of research on castor oil before even joking about using it! I've heard nothing but horror stories - including a dead little baby boy :(
