I know I haven't been around a lately with getting married last month, moving, and trying to get my DD adjusted, things have been busy.

I went for an appt with my midwife last Thursday and my blood pressure was 145/80 and 135/80.

I'm sorry to hear about the blood pressure. Are you sure they are using the right sized cuff on you? I know this can make a difference for some people. ALso there is "white coat syndrome", which is stress related and your blood pressure basically spikes when you are getting it taken by a doctor! I don't know how much of an increase these two things can cause, but you could look it up. Is there anyway you can monitor it at home? This may set your mind at ease and you wouldn't be stressed out when they have to test it at the office. Maybe? Keep focused on your goal and you will make it there. I believe in you.

Thank you! Thankfully, it's not pre-e. All of my bloodwork and test came back normal.

Sorry to hear about your BP issues also. I went for a pedi yesterday (which was relaxing). Last night, DH and I had night date and enjoyed a meal at a new Japanese place in our area (my favorite food). I have an appt with my psychologist before my appt with my midwife today. Hopefully, that will help me de-stress first.

They are using the large cuff to measure my BP. I think part of it may be the white coat syndrome. Knowing that this practice controls the outcome of how this baby is born is a bit scary. My DH's parents are in the medical field so they gave us the thing to test my BP at home. When DH test my BP it is in the normal range but when his parents test it, my BP is crazy high. I think it has something to be with them being about of what's causing my sooo much stress.

The midwife who saw my at the L&D said I have pregnancy induced hypertension. Seeing the baby's heart rate will I was there was exciting. My DD called and when I was talking to her and said her name, his heart rate increased to the 170 range. Each time we (DH, my sister, and I) said her name, his heart rate increased. Hopefully, this is a sign that he is excited to meet her. She talks to my belly all the time telling him how much she loves him.

You are right. It's more relaxing to be on bedrest at home than it is being at work. It would be 100% relaxing if we didn't have visitors stopping by.
