Wow! That makes me wonder if for some individuals, it causes them any discomfort? Maybe the baby really *was* trying to get away from it? eek!
We aren't finding out either, and have not had any ultrasounds, not planning on them this time, though I find myself sometimes waffling on that... but I always think, I can still change my mind and have an ultrasound any time, but once I have had one, can't change my mind about not.
But even if we had one, we also would want the surprise of the gender at the birth, and I am not 100% sure I and DH could hold onto our resolve if the answer was right there waiting for us to look!
Good for you for holding to your guns if you really want the surpise! We have had it both ways, and find that the surprise at the end is great, but as the song goes, "the waiting, is the hardest part!"
