Your kids are cute!! I check almost every day here and will respond as often as i can, so lets just post and ask questions, it will spark things up!
I do have to ask, though... what is an amber teething ring?

It's a necklace. The amber has something in it that leeches into your skin to give pain relief. Go to inspired by Finn . Com (w/o spaces) and you can find out more. It looks way cute on ds-I got a mixed one

I love our teething necklace. Do you leave yours on a night? I have been taking it off.

I take it off and double wrap it around his upper arm otherwise I'm up every hour with him. He's swaddled so he can't get to it

Maybe I will try bracelet-ing it at night. Maren is waking more frequently now and I am not sure why.

Good to see you, Ashley!

And yes, this board does seem super slow again. I rather suspect everyone is doing Facebook and/or CafeMom or other super-busy sites, primarily, or else just more into non-computer life. We can but try...

Thanks for sharing pics, he is getting huge! And cute!

I do wonder about the amber teething necklace, because twice now, I have taken James' off at my DH's request, and twice, that has resulted in a cranky, difficult day...so it's staying on. The only thing is, making sure it stays inside his clothing, because if it comes out, that's where it can get snagged on something and present a hazard. So any wide gaping necklines mean I have to be super cautious. But that's easy since he's always on me or right next to me.

Ours is supposed to be " break away" with each bead individually tied so they won't be loose on the floor if it breaks for baby to choke on. I don't know if it really is, of course, until it actually snags on something! Maybe yours is too?

What do you do at night? I tried upper arm and ankle but I didn't feel good about either one. Upper arm was tight, anklet too loose. Sigh. I guess I could leave it on her neck, but it worries me. Has anyone actually ever been strangled by a necklace? I have slept in them for years as a teen. I would probably worry too much to be able to do it.
