yeah you will prob go into labor before me! lol. --I am having dr check me tomorrow (just for the heck of it) since at 36 weeks i was intact and no dilation..just want to have some grasp if i will be possibly over due. Of course this is no guarantee of anything (no dilation doesn't mean i will be over due and dilation really doesn't always mean labor is coming). Remember i have a friend who everyone including drs said she wouldn't make it to June (due July 2nd). She's still pregnant today and has been contracting and dilating for months now. She was sent home this wkd because she never progressed past 3cm. When i had DD15 i was kept at 3cm.. I think today they're more conservative with kicking labor in with pitocin.
ok..Well 15 yrs ago i was on my due date and i was having regular contractions and they told me to come in.. I believe i was only 3 cm but maybe i am wrong. All i know is they kept me and i had my daughter 14.5 hours later.
Ok, glad there's some action finally! :) At least you know all these miserable contractions are doing a little something...though it's crazy (to me) that you're only still at 1cm.

I am actually not certain how I feel about it all.
In my experience at the hospital I deliver at, either you have to be progressing with contractions (dilating like from a
Yay!
Glad to hear that the contractions are doing something but sorry they're so painful.
I don't know about this hospital, but the one where I delivered my last two didn't go only by contractions and dilation.
