So carter had a really 'cry' heavy night in the hospital last night his stomach seemed upset and he was cluster feeding (he was 24 hours)

Yea, i was super shocked they recommended it because i had no problems with colostrum i just have an 8 lb baby that didn't like not having a super full tummy....he also considers me a human pacifer ....lol today now that he is getting lots of breast milk he was in a milk coma... i got a couple of great naps in with him :)

Yay for your milk coming in!!! It's awful when they are hungry and upset but your milk isn't in yet!

I had to supplement with ds1 in the beginning too. He would get really angry when I was trying to feed him. Supplementing can get such a bad rap. But like you said, it isn't always a bad thing.
