Well, I do believe that I am in love with my sling.

I bought a mojo wrap ($80.00) and hated it...I wrapped it around me 100 times and still could not get the baby into it comfortably, I also found it loosened and the baby sagged. So I took it back but the store only offered a credit not a refund. They also sell the ergo...the girl there swears by it. She says she still carries her son in it and he is a toddler.
I am using a snugli right now...True likes the snugli but it is very hard on my back and neck. Today I took DD for a walk to pick blackberries...I couldn't pick her up to get them or anything and my back kills me.
I should probably use my credit and pay the extra and get the ergo??? I think I would get a lot of use out of it and save my back. I love carrying the baby and he loves to be worn!
Is there only one type of ergo? It's different from the snugli in that all the weight is on your waist, right?

What I know firsthand is limited to the one I got, but I spent a lot of time reading and searching in order to convince myself of the choice.

Thanks for all the info...very helpful.
My babe is also big (14 lbs) and hold his head up quite well. He is already enjoying his bouncy gym/exersaucer!
