Is it bad that I've been stealing candy from my kids' Easter baskets???

You are protecting them from too much sugar in their diet!

Nope, you're the get first dibs! ;)

We don't give our son Tristen any candy, so anytime he gets a goody bag from a party I look through it first to "remove" the eat anything I like and then trash the rest.

Our DS is only 19 months and we don't usually give him candy so we bought his Easter chocolate knowing that we would be the ones eating most of it.

I wouldn't give my kids even 1/4 of the candy they got for Easter if I thought they would eat all of it. The kids get to eat one filled egg a night for snack so it would last them months if they were the only ones eating it. I made sure the buy some of DH favorites so he would eat most of them. The kids never really notice that they didn't eat all their candy.

no easter candy in my daughter never had much because of a peanut allergy. We used to get her a barbie or something like that.
