Hmm...I guess it would depend on whether I always had this kind of money to throw around or if I suddenly came into some serious cash. If I had been brought up with plenty of money, then I might not think twice about a $1500 stroller. However, if I had always been living paycheck to paycheck and then suddenly hit the lottery, I think I could probably find something a little more practical to spend the money on.
A good stroller is nice, but I seriously doubt that one for $1500 is going to be all that much better than one for two or three hundred. Basically, you're paying for the brand name at that point.
I'm with Jillian, at that point you are just paying for the name. I refuse to pay >$300 (before taxes) for any stroller (may be a little give/take on that but not much, meaning if I saw something for $325 or $350 and REALLY LOVED it I might consider it).
Not even as a baby gift would I want it.
