... cameras in the delivery room?

Photography and videography have been allowed in the delivery room for decades.

Personally, I didn't choose to use one in my natural delivery and there was NO WAY I'd have used it for my CS. I just really didn't want to see all that! However, I feel that if people do choose to want to capture those moments then they should be allowed. Perhaps there could be some kind of rules to protect the privacy of hospital staff?

I've never really had a desire to have a camera pointing at me during delivery.

This reminds me of my first delivery! I went "all natural" without an epidural and was in so much pain I was begging my mom to kill me....every time I pushed, the dumb doctor would say "Stop screaming, you're going to scare all the other pregnant women.". He was such a jerk! Then when my son was over 10 pounds and I suffered 4th degree tearing because he didn't give me an episiotomy, he was all apologetic. I'll bet he was glad we didn't decide to tape THAT adventure...LOL.

But we definitely had a camera in the delivery room because my SO took lots of pictures after DS was born. It's just during the actual delivery that I wouldn't really want picture taking. I would hate it if we didn't have those first few moments on film.
