O ya, my DD was doing that for awhile. Now she only strips to diaper or underwear. She's awful @ PT though. I had to snip the feet in her feety PJs & put them on backwards so I didnt have to clean her crib & sheets one more time!
Well, at least she has not taken to decorating with it! (My SIL's son did that - she told me that when I discovered my 1.5 year old youngest son had woken from a nap long enough to take everything off, toss it outside the travel pen, and went back to sleep stark naked).
Upside: he was the easiest to potty train in the end.
my DD15 used to take her diapers off (after she wet them though)..My daughter wanted nothing to do with potty training until she was 3 and 3/4....i hope this baby doesn't take as long but they all do it when they're ready. Like the pediatrician said all the kids will be trained by the time they go to kindergarten and its true. lol
Have you tried putting the diaper on backwards? I had to do that for one of mine and it deterred them long enough that it wasn't fun anymore and they lost interest
Not sure how old she is ... but if I was cleaning the carpet anyway, I'd probably just go with potty training.
I love "early trainers" training underwear (google them if you're interested). They're cotton so the kids feel really soaked when they pee in them, but they have a heavy duty absorbancy and built-in vinyl cover. The legs are pretty snug, so they don't leak much. You might still have to change clothes from a wet spot, but it's not a big puddle on your floor.
None of my kids have done this getting naked thing. My youngest did but she never peed in the floor. She was first potty trained at like 15 months (literally on her own I didn't do it ... and it lasted for 3 weeks, which was quite weird). Then I had to initiate potty training a second time around her 2nd birthday.
You might even try pull ups - they're essentially diapers, but the mechanism is different than diapers and she might be fascinated enough to leave them on.

That stinks! I don't have any helpful suggestions for you, but wanted to at least share some sympathy since I'm sure it's super frustrating : )

My friend's little guy recently started doing this, so she started putting a onesie under his clothes to stop him.
