Hypothryoidism during pregnancy

So after my first baby dr appt, they did blood work, and when it came back it showed my thryoid levels were off.

My father has hypothyroidism. My mother had nodules on hers, though hers isn't genetic. So far, I haven't gotten it. FX.

From what I understand, just because you get it during or after pregnancy, doesn't mean that you are going to have it from then on. Though your likelihood is increased that you'll develop long term hypothyroidism, that doesn't mean it will happen. From what I've read, most women get over it.

I've suspected having postpartum hypothyroidism before, but never got tested for it. Eventually, the symptoms I was having went away.

I had hypothyroidism with number 2 it went away once she was born
