Anyone else's legs feel like they have run a marathon!! I remember this, but not so bad with the other pregnancies.. I was fine yesterday, but woke up this morning and am having such leg cramps that it feels rough just to walk!!

Ack! Only at night... sucks! I've ran a marathon before and there are definitely days where I wake up being pregnant and feel that same utter body fatigue as I did post marathon. Guess in many ways the two experiences put similar stress on a body.

A banana a day keeps the cramps away... *grin*

This is my least favorite part of pregnancy too. O U C H !!!
I take a potassium-magnesium supplement at bedtime, and have at least one banana a day. v-8 juice seems to help too (at night) although I dont know why!
I also stretch (flex) my calves at bedtime and anytime I wake up during the night-- seems to help!

Thank you all for the responses.. I have been trying to eat more bananas lately (luckily I like fruit at this point) more water and stretching out and they haven't been bothering me as much!!

I had terrible charlie horses when I was pregnant with ds. My doctor had me start taking calcium supplements. When I was right in the middle of a cramp, pointing my toes towards my knees really helped out immensely! Eating more bananas is definitely a good idea too.
