my sister is a pharmacist and says Zofran is class B and is prescribed often for pregnant women. Dramamine and Bonine are okay also to take pregnant. Good luck!!

I swear by Zofran. My last pregnancy I was sick for weeks and couldnt eat or drink a thing- I had 4 little ones at home and could not even function. Doc gave me Zofran and it was like a miracle drug, It never made me tired at all.

Thanks so much ladies.. I'll be calling Monday about a new prescription and get it switched to Zofran.. Just can't believe he gave me a med that cures nausea but also puts you into a "light sleep"..

My doctor prescribed me half of a unisom taken with a vitamin b6 pill. It's a sleeping med but half of it doesn't actually make me sleepy at all. I finally took my first dose yesterday and woke up feeling WONDERFUL today. First time in days I actually slept at night instead of up all night throwing up. But the fact that it's a sleeping pill makes me a little uneasy too...

Except my friends on facebook are all insisting they were given the same thing and they were fine, their babies are fine. But why does it keep bugging me??

Is that the med you were given?

things are definitely more lenient now than years ago. When i was pregnant with my DD in 95-96 i was told i can't take anything except tylenol and sudafed. and tums for heartburn..i never took anything for nausea at all or for insomnia..i suffered a great deal.

Question. When are you supposed to take the Unisom and B6. Do you take it at night and it works for the next day or can you take you take it during the day as needed? I dont have a DR appt for 2 weeks and MS is getting worse!

I can take it up to 3 times a day but I just took it before bed last night (a friend's recommendation) and had absolutely NO morning sickness at all today. And I was having it all day really bad, throwing up constantly before.
