morning sickness and spotting!

I have been spotting on and off for the last couple days. Just light pink on the tp nothing I have to wear a pad for. However, I have been very nauseated as well. I don't know what to think. I haven't had any cramping. I have an appointment with my endocrinologist today because my thyroid levels are all messed up. I don't know of that would cause the spotting or what? My last pregnancy ended at 6 weeks and I am so nervous the same thing will happen this time!
