I haven't started stocking up yet because there's no place to store them right now. I will say babies do tend to go through a lot of diapers the first month or so, but then it does taper off a bit. I thought for sure we were going to go broke buying diapers at the rate Jesse was going through them. We priced out diapers in our area and found BJs to be the cheapest by far.

Amazon is the only place I buy diapers anymore. This is a great article on how to get some great deals - http://www.babycheapskate.com/2011/01/11/how-to-tuesday-how-to-use-amazon-mom-to-score-hot-deals-on-diapers/

I always used Huggies Little Snugglers on DS when he was small but now I like to use Pampers Cruisers for him.

I bought a box of Pampers newborn diapers at Sam's Club last payday. The way this kid is growing though, he might be able to bypass the newborn size, lol. Most of the time the diapers are wrapped in clear plastic inside the box. You could probably peak through the plastic if you want to : )

I haven't bought any yet, but I am planning to once we get into our new house. I am planning to start with Pampers with this LO because that's what I used for DS and they worked really well with him.

I plan on going through Amazon and using the Amazon Mom program with the subscribe & save option to get good deals on the diapers. Which magazine was it that you found the coupon in?

Donna - I was thinking of BJ's as well but there isn't a good one near me.

I've bought some Newborn, 1's, 2's, and 3's. My DS stayed in size 3's so I'm trying to buy more of those than anything else.

For the Amazon coupons, I have heard that they still work even after they are expired so if you find anymore don't throw them away! Coupons can be found in March issues of Parents, Baby Talk, and Parenting: The Early Years. I like to suggest Baby Cheapskate on Facebook to all the moms (or moms-to-be) that I know.

Yay for your first box of diapers so exciting. My DH got me a bag of size 1s for christmas super cute I know how little they are but I still opened the bag and put one on a doll. If you plan on stocking up I highly recomend size three for a coupla reasons 1)in my experience people like to give small diapers for shower gifts because they are CUTE 2) babies grow out of the small ones super fast, my DS was in size 3 by like 3 months. Also a really good diaper is luvs and they are cheaper than pampers or huggies and IMO work just as good if not better, used em once DS was 2 months till 2 1/2 and he was potty trained. Sorry bout the ramble but just wanted to throw my experience out there.
