Wow Stacey you beat me to the post here. I hope you continue to have a safe journey.

AFM - I have an OB appointment this evening (5:30) after a full day of school and an after school teachers' meeting. The rest of this week should be a lot less busy than last week, only youth group on Wed. night for Josh.

Stacey - I hope the weather cooperates for the rest of your drive and you make it MD safely.....you'll be in D.C. in no time :)

Robin - I definitely wouldn't feel bad getting a new crib & Larissa's suggestion about telling them there was a recall sounds like a good cover story in case they'll be offended?

Robin - I do not think you're being unreasonable at all, and I like the idea of telling them it was part of a recall (which it probably was). A 25 year old crib definitely would not meet today's safety standards.

Cynthia - I hope your MIL does come by soon to reupholster you glider/rocker for you. And 3 months is still quite a bit of time to get things ready and organized, try not to stress about it too much.

Christine - I hope you had a good OB appointment today and that the scale was friendly to you - I hate the weigh ins as well.

lltruc - Yay for a good appointment! Sorry to hear that your kiddos are sick. Sounds like things are going well for the opening of your new location.

Newlywed - Have fun with your friend tonight.

AFM - my OB appointment tonight went well. I didn't gain any weight (don't hate me, I worked very hard not to gain) and my Glucose Test results came back well within normal limits - so he's not going to make me repeat the test as he originally planned. I even got to hear the baby's heart beat with just the doppler today, he's always used the u/s machine until now because of the placenta location and my uterus being tilted. I'm doing so well that he's waiting 3 weeks for my next appointment instead of the usual 2 weeks.

He's pretty much decided that I will have a repeat c/s sometime during my 39th week, so I'll have to leave work a bit sooner than I planned. But it will also make it possible for me to help with the moving up ceremony and it's dress rehearsal the week after I deliver. (I know, I'm crazy! But I just can't sit around at home very well, I have to get out or I go crazy.)

Oh, I forgot. Our district IT guy came to my building today to address the few issues that I couldn't resolve. My laptop is finally going to go in for repairs (been waiting almost 3 months for that) it appears the picture tube on it went, and they address my battery issue too. He even figured out how to quickly transfer all my stuff to my work desktop, so now I have all my iTunes, pics and movies back. I'm sooo happy!
