I expected a routine, boring appointment today, but that was not to be.

I'm sorry you had a bad appointment. I hope all your testing goes well tomorrow and the pre-eclampsia stays away so you can make it to June 8th. I'm sorry Jenna is still breech. Only a few more weeks!

Oh wow! Sorry Donna! Hope the tests all come out better and that you won't have to have her early! Thoughts will be with you!

I'm fine with her being breech, since it will justify having a c-section and will allow him to do the tubal while he's in there. I just really don't want to have her this early and have to use up my sick time and not be there for the kiddos at school.

Thanks ladies! So far the labs look fine, but still have to do the 24 hour urine collection and return that. The BP is all over the place, but definitely much better when I'm laying down. The baby seems to be tolerating it well, I guess that's the important thing right now.

Emotionally I'm a bit of a wreck right now, I just want to cry. It was strange going into the L&D department for these tests - they actually put on a hospital band (just in case you have to be admitted, I guess) and the freaked me out a little bit.

My mom talked with my dad and told him to set my DH straight on doing a better job of taking care of me and the kids. She said if DH doesn't start doing his share, she's going to come over and cut the cables to the TVs. We'll see what happens there.

I had the same crazy OB appt. 2 wks ago. I know where you are and how you are feeling. I completely freaked out too which Im sure didn't help.
Some advice my aunt gave me was to take it easy and let it take its course. If we freak out over it, the BP will just keep going up and anything else is likely to not go the way we want it. She also told me that If God wants my baby to come early, then she's coming early whether i like it or not. I know sometimes we don't want to hear things like this but I hope it helps a little bit. I hope I didn't offend you or upset you in any way. If I did Im so sorry. Try to let go, and take it easy.

I know I've already commented a little in the chit chat folder, but I wanted to add some stuff here. I'm sorry you are feeling like a bit of an emotional wreck right now. I can completely understand it though and I hope you are feeling better once you get a chance to relax. I really hope you got that nap and that your dad is able to talk to your DH about doing a bit more so you can get some more rest at home.

I'd personally take the day off tomorrow if you can so you can finish the 24 urine in peace and so you can have another day to get some rest and hopefully help your BP issues settle down a bit. (((HUGS)))
