That is great news!!! I completely understand about the cat...its amazing all the places he picks up either cat hair or his sisters hair. Seems he always has something in his hand no matter how much I clean.
Nicholas started out doing the army crawl thing but has finally mastered real crawling up on his hands and knees. He just learned how to go straight from crawling to sitting with no help so he is much happier.
His thing now is walking around the furniture, he goes the length of the couch then over to the coffee table. His hardest thing was trying to figure out how to get back down once he was up. He finally just figured out to let go with 1 hand and then just land on his butt...it's pretty funny to watch. His balance is still not great so I think it will be quite a while before he is walking alone...after his 1st birthday as least (I hope)!
