Subchorionic hemorrhage

I was just informed yesterday after some bleeding that I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. Has anyone else experienced this? I was told not to do any heavy lifting so I'm not able to pick up my 2 1/2 year old DD and it's been really hard. I'm supposed to take it easy for the next few weeks as well.

Pretty nervous and scared at the same time.

I have one too. They found mine during an ultrasound at 4 weeks and I had another ultrasound on Monday and they said it's still there. It's still the same size as it was at 4 weeks, so they said for me to just continue taking it easy.

I hope things continue to go well for you. I did some research and I found that when they are small, they usually end up going away on their own. P&PT for you and your little one!

Thank you! It helps to know that someone has gone through it had good results. I'm thinking positive :)

I had some spotting with DD at around 7 or 8 weeks so the doctors did an ultrasound and found the same thing -- a subchorionic hemorrhage.

Yep!

I had a hemorrhage at 8 weeks. I thought it was a m/c because it was a rather impressive amount of blood. Yet when the US was done at the ER they found the hematoma. It is small, but the little blueberry is just fine. I was put on bedrest for 2-3 days, then after that put on pelvic rest. I bled heavily for one day, spotted for the 2 days following and haven't had any further bleeding since. I am still a bit nervous/paranoid but just waiting to get out of the first trimester.
