Close family and friends know and a few coworkers, but that's about it. I haven't made a facebook announcement yet. I think I'm gonna wait until after the first ultrasound which is November 4th just to make sure everything's okay.

So far just my mother and his sister (although she told her husband, which I didn't like).

We told our parents and siblings Friday and Saturday. Since we are far away, we had to tell everyone by phone. I called my mom and brother first on Friday because DH was planning to call his family from Iraq. When I talked to DH on Saturday, he hadn't had a chance to call them so I called his mom and siblings on Saturday. I also called our grandmothers. A few of my friends know because I told them at a party I went to yesterday. I had to leave a voicemail on my SIL's machine and my grandmothers machine, so I am waiting to say anything on facebook until I get to talk to them.

We just found out last night, but have decided not to tell anyone yet. It is rough on me not to tell my sister or my family, but I am just trying to figure out things, still. I want to make sure everything is ok. Last week I think we announced to close friends/family at 6 weeks, then to everyone else at 12 weeks.

Now that I'm employed (an EBD teacher) I'll probably hold off as long as possible. Before I was in grad school so it didn't matter much. Now, I'm also concerned about what my employer will say.

My lips are sealed shut! We told a few close friends and family in august and then I had the terrible task of going back and letting them no just kidding we lost it. I can not do that again. So we are not saying anything for a while. We have an u/s on Nov 5 and at that point I may tell my mom, but only if the morning sickness persists because i think she is already wondering, she see's me a lot. As far as everyone else they can assume all they want but we most likey will not say a word until Christmas.
