Karen, you're so welcome! I ordered both too!! I had a sling with Rian and I loved using it when he was little and like you said, for $12, I couldn't resist. :) Which color did you get? I got the Black Magic Sling and the Jones Nursing cover. I, too, used to have a blanket because they didn't have the covers like that when Rian was little. When I saw them before getting preggo, I knew I just had to have one. :) And for $9, heck yeah! ;)

I got the Udder cover last time I was nursing, but I rarely used it. I DID order the sling though. My daughter didn't like the sling, so I got rid of it. But I thought I would try again with this new little girl.

Yay!! I hope she does! :) I hope this baby likes it too. Rian loved being snuggled and cuddled...if he could fit in a sling like a baby, he still would! LOL

Thanks so much,

I really wanted a sling bad so this was a great opportunity. I ordered the Black Magic sling and I didn't go for the uddercovers. Not sure why, maybe because I tried breastfeeding both of my children but it didn't work at all with my DD and with DS it only lasted about 1 month. I'm going to try again but I"ll take my chances with blankets.

Just a note.. Their slings aren't that great so if you try it and don't like it don't give up because there are plenty of really great alternatives out there..

Sleepywraps are amazing for newborns and mobys.

Thanks for the heads up! I ended up getting the Black Magic Sling and the Jones Nursing cover too! I tried a sling with DS but it was ackward, bulky, and hot since it was made of wool and just didn't work with our warmer climate, even being a winter baby that he was. This one looks a lot better and I can't wait to try it with the new baby. And the nursing cover looks great! With DS I always used blankets, but it was a pain. I never bought the covers because they were just so expensive but that was a really good deal. Thanks again for the heads up!

Great miinds think alike!! :) We'll have a very stylish playgroup! ;) I had the cloth and a flannel one from hotslings and the flannel one was a mistake. I guess I thought that with the cold weather it'd be nice but Rian baked in it so the cloth was a nice choice. :)
