Has anyone else been diagnosed with a subchronic bleed/hematoma? And is anyone else on pelvic rest?

I've been on pelvic rest since 4-17-11 when we had our first bleeding scare. And yesterday morning, after being released from the ER (after a second bleeding incident)

Yes, I was. I've had this happen with all 3 of my children. I haven't had any bleeding since about 10.5 weeks. Hang in there. It can be a bit scary, but like you said it's quite common. P&PT your way. :)

I've been on pelvic rest since wk 5. Due to spotting. It's usual with all my pregnancies.

My doc said I have this as well, but I haven't had any bleeding as of yet, and no recommendation of pelvic rest either.
I'm just past 10 weeks now and was diagnosed at my 8 week appointment.
Keep us updated!

Julie- Did yours dissolve on their own? (I've heard they can) And did it cause any complications during delivery?

I'm really glad to know that I'm not the only one! It does make me feel a lot better. Tho I have a lot of questions, and not a lot of answers.. And from what I'm finding online doesnt helpl much.

I don't know how much they dissolved, or were expelled. I've had spotting with all of mine. There were absolutely no complications during delivery, they were gone by the 2T. My OB didn't mention it, but at my last u/s at 13.5 weeks I didn't even see it anymore (and I can usually spot them without help of the tech or OB). Does your OB plan to monitor it? Mine didn't. She just acted as if it wasn't a big deal, which it turned out it wasn't really.

Mine was diagnosed in the ER, so my OB hasn't said anything. I was thinking about writing up a bunch of questions to leave for his nurse. I talked to a nurse at the drs office, and she didn't seem to worried about it. I didn't have this with my son, but I had complications at delivery with the placenta, so I am a little bit more worried than I normally would.

Definitely write out your list of questions.... just keep a running list, jotting them down as you think about them. I actually had a dr that had index cards in his exam rooms so as you were waiting, you could jot down questions. One time I filled it up front AND back of questions... I just handed him the card and he went through each question one by one! LOL When is your next OB appt?
