Not really at all!

He will go to the big u/s but I'm on so many meds and he doesn't have a clue what they are, why they are or what to do if I have a problem.

It's very frustrating.

Deven, homeschooling mommy of Kol, Jul, Elle, Liv & baby #5 due 11/16. Three Sweethearts in Heaven;

;-P Not bad for 11 years of marriage!

This is DH's 1st and it's sad because he's going to miss most of the pregnancy but we are both praying he will be home for the birth...with that said, he's gone to every appt so far, even when it was just a blood test like yesterday. He will miss the big us but can't wait to call and hear all about it. Currently he's spending his last couple weeks here talking to my belly in hopes the baby hears him and will recognize his voice. :) He's been unbelievably sweet and involved and excited...this is the first pregnancy that I've had where Daddy was over the moon with joy and involved.

Tammy, check this out.. http://www.blanketsfordeployeddaddies.com/ We're doing it..

John usually goes to every appointment.. This time he'll be in Afghanistan so he made one a couple weeks ago and we have a 3D u/s scheduled in three weeks for him to see the baby right before he deploys.. He'll be back when the baby is about a month and a half so involvement will be crazy limited this time.

We will have video I'll play with headphones on my belly so the baby can hear him and we'll have a blanket that smells like him..

Mine's totally involved, but we've been struggling with infertility and pregnancy loss since 1999, so we're both in this together.
