Just wanted to share... Since my ectopic pregnancy in October I am even more paranoid than I was with our DS... Not knowing what is going on in there... I know you should relax and enjoy pregnancy but the constant worry is even harder after a loss and years of trying....
Anyway, I bought a pocket doppler hear monitor. It's FDA approved for home use and can help give some piece of mind. I first tried it at 10 weeks but didn't get anything. They say anywhere between 10-12 (but most reviews I read said 12 if not more depending on your build)... Yesterday was 11 weeks and I tried again... I found my babies heartbeat. It was perfect! Exactly what it would be. I am elated that something so little and that only cost $35 can give me the deep breath I needed.
I know they aren't for everyone & there are times this early because of the baby being SO small you won't always get it BUT some me this is a HUGE relief.

Congrats on hearing the joyous sound of your baby's heartbeat. I heard mine at the last doctor's appointment, But i was wondering where you got your fetal Doppler from and what is the brand name.
I too have a doppler, I tried today at 10w3d but was unsuccessful, I'm hoping to be able to find it at 11 weeks!

That's exciting! :) I didn't know they were so affordable. Where do you get them? I bet someday in the future, our grandchildren will have ultrasound things at home so they can watch their babies. crazy stuff.
