I was searching something online the other day and I came across a Google Question and Answer.

LOL That is hilarious!! I haven't really paid attention to any of the pregnancy misinformation but being an obssessive TTC board girl, I still go to it to get a good laugh because the things women can come up with to help with fertility or to rationalize why their periods are late, etc is so amusing. :D

OMG! Way too funny!

I can't think of anything like that... Well, DH thought I shouldn't take allergy medicine with my first because it would cause the baby to have allergies. LOL. I said "Honey, with our genes, this kid is going to have allergies no matter what I do when I'm pregnant!"

And, for the record, I personally would like to beat the crap out of the experts who say caffeine is bad for the baby... Don't they know what I'm going through here just to make it to 5:00 every day?! I'm not allowed to nap at work!

I totally agree with you on the caffeine thing.

HAHA! OK I don't think I'll ever have anything that could beat the icecream tip! However, if you'd ask my mother I should pretty much be laid up in bed for nine months until I want to give birth and then I should walk until my legs fall off to induce labor!

Um ya, coffee is a must. Do you know the headaches I would get? Ugh, don't even want to think about it. I drink about 2 cups a day and if I do have anymore I add two glasses of water. Not that it takes away the amount of caffeine I just drank or anything but I do it to keep hydrated since coffee makes me pee every few minutes.

That is the best one I've heard so far. ROFL.

My favorite is the walking/climbing stairs/washing floors will help induce labor. This so does not work. I was on my feet active until I went in for inducement. Nothing would make this baby come out on her own.

A friend at work is pregnant with her first and she quite often asks me questions about crazy stuff others have told her not to do.
