I don't have experience with it but I don't see it as an issue. Perhaps when they're older and more aware of wanting their own privacy, but certainly not when they're that young. We're planning on keeping our mixed set of triplets in the same room for as long as we can so we have an extra guest bedroom.

We only have a 2 bedroom house so our kids will share no matter what. I think It is fine at this age

My kids have shared rooms and my boys currently share...baby will be with us for a while. The kids love it. If the housing market was different, maybe we could go bigger but for the time being and while we are on sea duty, 3 bedroom house will just have to do. :)

I think it's fine when they're this young. Maybe at around 5/6 is when I would personally split them up.

It shouldn't be a problem while they are young. You can probably even extend it by a year if you need to. With limited space and your children being at such tender ages, that will allow you to take care of what ever you need to until you are ready to seperate them. It can also be a milestone for your daughter, She can move into her own big girl room when she turns 5 or 6.

I say go for it.

When this baby is born, my son will be 3 and he will share a room with the baby.

My kids share a room. My DS is 4 1/2 and DD will be 2 tomorrow. They don't mind it and we haven't had a problem with it. If it's possible when they get older Id like them to have separate rooms but this young it hardly matters :)

We don't have a spare room, so my DD and this baby will have to share - no choice! I figure they'll figure it out one way or the other :)

for those of you who already have kids sharing, are there any problems with sleep?
