When does the 2nd trimester start?

Even though I maybe expecting my sixth, I'm still foggy on when the trimesters start and end.

Some say 12, some say 13, and some say 14. I think it can be whichever you prefer. :)

I think it depends on how you look at it.

12 weeks - developmental
13 weeks - chronically

It is murky.

Long, long ago. You know when our mothers & grandmothers were pregnant. OB's counted by months.

Trimesters were easy to figure out. NOW, we go by weeks. Doesn't work so easy.

Technically 40 weeks divided by 3 trimesters is 13.3 so basically week 13, at least that's what I'm going with!
