Which antiacids are safe to take for pregnancy?

I take Tums or Zantac. They both work great and are safe. HPH.

I know Tums and Prevacid are safe, at least that's what my OB has told me. I was downing Tums like they were going out of style and he suggested Prevacid, it's a bit pricey, but to me has been a Godsend!

I've taken Tums and Zantac during all my pgs. So far the heartburn has been very mild but with my two other pgs, I ended up with an Rx for Zantac as it got so bad.

I'm with Jill...the last few pregnancies, Tums worked...this pregnancy, I've had heartburn so bad since day 1 so now I have an Rx for Zantac and it's working pretty well.

my doc did say that if the prevacid didn't work for me, he'd give me a script for something else, but the prevacid works wonders for me. Plus they're cute little pink and blue pills - just seems like they were made for pregnancy ;)
