I don't get anymore u/s, just the one at 20 weeks, but it's completely normal from what I have read for his weight. If your Dr. doesn't seem concerned than I'm sure it'll all fine. I don't know if you eating any more makes a difference. I think they eat what they want. Hopefully some other Moms can reassure you a little more than me. :) I'm sure he's just fine though. :) Babies flucuate in weight in utero and afterwards.

I'm with the above post, from my research I've read that babies should be atleast 4 pounds by 33 34 weeks. So I wouldn't be worried that he's too small, maybe a little big or just right

At my 33 week ultrasound baby weighed 4lbs 8ozs and they didn't see a problem with that. Plus the extra 1/2 pound they will gain every week. I think you and the baby will be just fine.

Right! From this point on we should gain atleast 1 pound a week, the baby takes half of that

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I just had a growth u/s done yesterday at 32 weeks, and the baby measured 4lbs and 5 ounces. This baby is in the 50th percentile for growth, which is perfectly average and fine. So I'm thinking this baby will hit 5 lbs next week, which is right on track!

Don't google it too much, it'll make you go crazy! :P

I agree with everyone else...baby Jake sounds fantastic! I know it's hard not to worry as his mommy, but he's definitely right on track. I had a growth scan last Tuesday (32w5d) and each of the babies were 4lb3oz, 3lb15oz and 4lb1oz. I know I'm an exception since there are 3, but if we did a scan today they certainly wouldn't be at 5 yet, maybe by my c/s next week at 35. Jake sounds like he's doing just fine, and like you said, there is room for error +/-. He's right on track for a healthy birth weight. :-)

Regarding eating, he'll get what he needs. Yes it's important to eat nutritious foods and make sure you're giving yourself calories, but he'll get what he needs.

You just answered my question, I was gonna ask if you were over wait prior to being pregnant. Being over weight sometimes they don't expect you to gain a lot of weight.
