Anybody else feel as if they have suddenly dilated?

I'm glad you went in and got checked out!! Better safe then not knowing. what's ur orginal due date? I'm dec 8 but measuring a week ahead. I'm having the same back pain and tighting in my stomach today that I was having when I was contracting. This time around I'm not feeling any cramping thankfully!

Glad to hear you got checked out and everything looks great and they were able to get you hooked up with meds. I'm always surprised when I go to mine because not only am I dilated but I contract non-stop and they just said I'm a "crazy contractor" and feel it more because this is my 4th. Thanks! Gotta love military institutions! So glad to hear all is well and hope it stays that way for you!

I ended up going to l&d last night just because I am a total worry wort. Good news is that my cervix is still very high and closed. Turns out that I was contracting though and they were about 7-10 minutes apart so I got to get more terbutaline. Have my 31 week appointment this Friday so I'll bring it up to the doctor at that point, too.

I was just telling DH last night that I wondered if I started dilating. I'm not having any of the stinging you talked about, but I've been feeling pressure in my bottom and also more cramping when I have contractions.

If I were you I'd call the doctor and see if you could be checked. It can't hurt!

It could be baby pushing down on your cervix. I know I have that issue a lot but my Dr. told me last time that it's a really simple check in L&D if I'm ever worried so don't be afraid to make a pit stop in just to get checked out. I have been dilated 1cm since 28 weeks and I had no idea that my BHs were making any difference. Good Luck!
