Awe, I'm sorry to hear that! I hope the consult goes well and everything is just fine for you and baby. I battle low blood pressure as well but haven't during pregnancy. Good Luck and keep us posted, we'll be thinking of you!

I hope it turns out to only be something minor.

My only experience is with hypertension, but I hope everything turns out just fine for you and baby. KUP...I know it's scary!

Are you currently in SD? We're moving there in August!

If it makes you feel any better that is my resting bp.. Whenever I am in the ER for anything I set off the monitors constantly, to the point they take them off at times.

Have you had any other symptoms like dizziness or feeling faint?

The answer for me was to up my salt intake because I went through a period of dizziness when standing up from a sitting position. If I remember to add salt to things I can generally keep my BP at around 90/55 to 60.

I've always had near perfect bp, until my last pregnancy, I got sudden severe pre-e and HELLP and it killed my baby at 35w1d. I've been on high bp meds ever since because delivery did not make it go down for me.

Now, I'm still on high bp meds and they don't want to change them just yet, but I'm battling with it running low - normally it's around 90/60. One day a few weeks ago I got super weak and nearly passed out, took my bp (this was before taking my meds) and it was 50/41. Went up to about 80/60 by the time I got to the ER (which my ob told me to go in) and my heart rate was 128, ended up I was a bit dehydrated ;)

But I feel you on the freaking out about bp. Especially since it killed my little boy. I hope they figure it out for you and everything goes great!

I've had problems with low blood pressure also. Like a pp said, by making sure I have adequate salt intake it has helped bring my bp up to 100/60 to 110/70 on really good days.

thanks all, I wish it was just a matter of salt intake, but my sodium level is just fine, my glucose level is low which is more indicative of something else going on.
