DD only wakes 1-2 time a night, but when she does and feeding is over she is awake and takes forever to go back to bed. I keep the lights low, no baby talk, little eye contact, etc. Any other suggestions??

So is she on her own schedule or do u have a set schedule? What I would suggest is waking the baby up to feed, instead of allowing her to wake herself up. I don't have my little one yet, but I'm going to try to have him on a schedule.. easier said then done... huh

no she always wakes between 3:30-4 so no need to "make" a scd. If I wake her to eat will she even be hungry enough to take anything??

Do you get right up when she wakes up or wait for her to fully wake? I have this problem with Laila occasionally but think she is colicky.. Hope it gets better!

How often does she eat during the day? If she goes longer stretches during the day I would wake her and feed her more during day hours and especially early evening to get enough calories in that she can and want to sleep at night. My DS had his days and nights flipped when he came home and when I woke him and feed him during the day he would stay awake more and then began sleeping better at night. He was always wiling to eat early if I offered. It took a couple weeks to get him on a better schedule, but it worked.
