third trimester surprises

I'm starting 3rd trimester this week and I don't remember this happening in my previous pregnancies. I just feel like a tidal wave of more pregnancy hormones has hit me. I felt sick (nausea) all night last night, the past 3 days I have been so hungry all the time no matter how much I eat, and today I just burst out crying for no reason at all!!! AHHH!

Welcome to the third trimester! ;) They say a lot of your first tri symptoms will repeat themselves in the third. I have discovered the magnitude of symptoms increase with the more pregnancies I have.

I completely understand the flood of emotions.

I watched "Fried Green Tomatoes" and started crying, but then I kept crying for no reason after that.

Oh I hear you sister! With the unexpected bed rest, I have been crying all the time and I have such little patience with DH and the kids. I am such a wreck. I'm just trying to remind myself to relax and that I only have 9 weeks left!

I definitely feel like a different person in the past few days, and it literally came out of the blue. It hurts to walk, I can barely move in bed, can't breathe because two of the babies are so high and they squish my stomach so eating is difficult and heartburn is back. I talked to DH last night and burst into tears twice: once because I don't want to complain about my symptoms because I don't want to appear ungrateful for my pregnancy, and again because I just love him so much. Of course I cried again on the u/s table this morning when Baby A yawned...I just felt so overcome by emotion! I'm not ready to give up these symptoms though, these babies need to stay in a few weeks more!

Oh, me too! And it's so weird because with my first I didn't experience any of this. But I've felt the nausea, appetite increases, and everything else now. It makes me miss the 2nd trimester :)

Forgot to mention fatigue...I'm back to the napping I did during the 1T.

I've been the same way for the past two weeks. My doctor prescribed me something for the ms because I was throwing up 1-2 times a day. I'm back to being extremely moody (i.e. bitchy) and crying at the slightest things. I don't remember being like this with either of the other 2 kids.

Yes I have noticed a change too! I am back to getting really hungry every few hours and taking 2-3 hour naps like I did during the first trimester. I've even had a couple of waves of sickness. The third trimester is definitely different!

Hello 3rd Trimester! I guess I've been in the 3T for a few weeks now, but man oh man, am I a joy to be around! I feel bad for my DH because I'm not so much emotional as a complete B*****. I just can't help it, everything pisses me off. I'm irritable and uncomfortable and take no responsibility for the things that come out of my mouth.

I'm also exhausted because I'm getting pregnancy insomnia and then have to deal with a toddler all day long. When we were in the 1T, he was napping pretty consistently, but now he's only napping every other or every third day. "Quiet time" is my savior!
