The nesting urge has started hitting me in a big way

Oh I'm nesting like crazy. Have fully emptied our walk in closet and reorganized everything as it went back in. Brand new hangers and some new shelving. And I cleaned out and organized the whole garage... Next on my list are the hall closet and the drawers...

It's a little out of control.

Oh yea! I've been nesting majorly!! It usually starts with me putting away laundry and then I end up cleaning the laundry room or going thru the closets or dressers! And then cleaning the playroom, living room, and bathrooms. I also figured out how to get all 3 carseats in my middle row, so now they're all 3 in the car!

I'm really hoping to get all the fabric this week/weekend so we can make the curtains and recover the glider and ottoman and hopefully get DD's toddler bed ordered so we can put the crib back together! My OB said he gives me 4 weeks tops, which will put me at 36ish weeks! OMG that's like RIGHT around the corner!! I'm so excited, yet starting to freak that everything isnt going to be ready!!

I WANT to nest, and every few days I'll get in a kick and do something! I actually washed a WHOLE crap load of baby clothes! I've got one of those giant tubs full plus a hamper - and I believe it's only preemie - 9 month clothes (and not even all of it!) But I'm still waiting for my DH (the D does NOT stand for Dear in this case either!!!) to finish up the d*** baseboards so we can get our d*** carpet installed!!!

This installation involves removing EVERYTHING from the living room and all 3 bedrooms - then putting it all back. Ugh....

I sure wish I'd been more motivated last week when it was rainy and only 70-80 degrees out (we have no A/C...) vs this week when we're in a 100+ heatwave!!!

I keep telling DH only 8 1/2 weeks left! He can't seem to wrap his brain around that!

I wish! I really need to get my butt in gear for this little boy! I haven't gotten a single thing ready for him and I and due in 7 weeks :( I have just been so tired lately it takes all my energy just to get my daughter fed and in bed before I crash. DH is happy I haven't started nesting yet because I turn into a total cleaning nazi :p

I did feel the need to clean over the weekend, but the house really needed it so I can't say it was nesting.

I'm trying but the heat is just wearing me down bad!! Some of the stuff that needs to get done is DH's dept so that'll probably be never lol I think now that I'm done with my summer classes though I may be able to start since I don't have to study or be up at classes 4 days a week.

I don't think I'll ever be ready.

Definitely! I've cleared space in our dresser and rearranged the furniture in our room so there is room for the bassinet. All our newborn CDs, clothes, swaddle blankets, sheets etc are washed and ready to go. I even filed 6 months worth of paperwork which I'd let build up and was really annoying me. DH is also nesting
