I'm having some trouble with the link - but I'm planning on using my 2005 Maclaren for this baby.

Puh-leeeeze....did you see the prices? Give me a break! I have a very hard time believing that a $600 stroller is any better than $150 strollers. I'm the wrong person to ask though...I don't fall for the fancy names and big price tags on anything.

All too pricey for me. I'm willing to spend $350-400 for the Britax carseat I fell in love with because it's worth it to me for safety but I can't justify spending that kind of money on a stroller.

This made me sad, the one I have LOVED for years is just over a 1,000. I knew it was really expensive but over 1,000 seems crazy to me I wish I never looked LOL. But I wanna add that some of them look a little odd to me......

O*M*G.

Finally the link worked for me - and I did catch the list.

I feel terribly sympathetic to those new moms out there that see a list like this and think those prices are reasonable/normal/necessary - That one for over $1,000 had me do a spittake at the keyboard.

OKay.....here's my two cents, take it for what you will. While we had more disposable income (read: I worked full time), we purchased the Peg Perego Skate (which is on the list). We purchased it while in London and did a lot of research on the various strollers before making our decision. Do I think anyone NEEDS a $600 stroller, no, however, we lived in a city and it was the primary "transportation" for our LO because of how much we walked. It is an investment piece, we are using it again for this one, and because of the versatility in weight/convertability, it lasts a long time. No need for a second stroller. Could I buy one today.....no. Very thankful I already have one.

I'm sorry my post sounded so harsh.

I agree, I could not imagine spending on the upwards of $1000 on a stroller! There are plenty of great strollers in the $50-$150 range that would suit anyone just fine!! If I saw this as a FTM, I would've looked into ANY other way of transporting my baby!
