Crazy Er visit..What is going on here?
Hey girlies..I got to have my first Pregnancy related Er visit last night..Not the funnest thing Ive done..but I lost all feeling from my belly button down..it was as if I was paralyzed from the waste down..So I get there..they poke and prod and do an ultrasound to make sure everything with the baby was fine..The tech asked me how far along I was and I told him about 26 weeks give or take a few days..and he asked me..Are you positive about that?..Um..of course I am..he did some measurements of the baby and the doc measured my fundal height and Im measuring about 34 weeks on both..Why in the world is everything so big? I have follow up appts scheduled with my regular ob and more tests and ultrasounds coming so we'll see whats going on..Im hoping its just because their machine is off or something...because Im positive of my cycle I know exactly which day I got my BFP and I know that two days prior it was negative..So I know Im not further along...Im starting to have some ansiety issues..ahhh
Sorry..I forgot to add that Ive been dealing with the numbness issue for yrs..its not preggo related...but its just not a good time..they can't seem to find out whats causing it..Im just concerned about the "big baby" issue..They are suspicious that I may have developed diabetes early and that may be the cause of the incredibly early growth..I'll update when I know something.

At my last OB visit my fundal height measured 32, and I was only 26 weeks!
OMG! I hope they were just measuring wrong! Were your dates accurate at the begining of the pregnancy? KUP!
The only time I've experienced numbness for "no reason" was after my epidural with my first pregnancy, I had lingering numbness in my right leg but NOTHING like what you've described!

I wouldn't worry too much about the fundal height measurement.
That does sound odd. If it were not so far off, I would just say a bigger baby. I guess we will see what the OB says when you go. I hope you are going in soon.
