It is possible he keeps telling you he got nothing because he got something. My dh has done that to me before. But this year, I think he has simply forgotten Mother's Day. Usually, if he is building up to a surprise, he is extra jerky.

I'm sorry honny! *hugs* I'd be upset too .. I don't think your being a baby. We all deserve recognition on Mother's Day for all the hard work we do all year. Heck it's only one day the least he could do is tell you to go out and do something nice for yourself even if he didn't have time to do anything. I'm sorry to hear about his grandfather. I'm sure he's got a lot on his mind and unfortunately most men can't handle all that very well. I hope he ends up surprising you with something tomorrow! If not I'd sit him down and calmly tell him how he's been making you feel when the time is right. KUP mama!
