Who else is planning to wear their baby?

I really got into slings when I had DD. She would only really settle during the day if she was snuggled in close to me and if I held her in my arms all day, I couldn't get anything done! A sling was a lifesaver and I ended up with several different types. I now have a moby, a mei tai, a ring sling and a beco butterfly in my sling stash. I'm so excited try try them all out with this new LO! So, who else is planning to wear their baby? Which sling did you choose and why?

I will be wearing my little one. At first I'll use a home-made moby wrap. If I'm lucky enough to get another ring sling then I'll move to that, if not I have a mei tai that I love.

I am not doing a sling, but we are getting an Ergo baby carrier. I think it will come in handy when I am traveling and when I am walking the dogs and just don't feel like the stroller.

I have a Sleepy Wrap, which is the same as the Moby, and I'm hoping to make another one bc I dont want to buy another one! I loved it and it was so much easier when we were out and about! I also really want a Mei Tei! I found a pattern online and I'm thinking about maybe trying to make one, but IDK yet!

I had a HotSling with DD as well, but I hated it! I could never get it comfortable enough for both of us and I always felt like I was smothering her!

I bought fabric to "make" my own Moby Wrap. I just have to cut the fabric and practice tying it. I'm excited for it!

When DD was born I wanted to update photos on FB or talk on my IV Baby board about her but I couldn't because she needed to be held! I'm excited to try out the wrap especially if this LO is like my first!

Also, it's gonna be handy for when DD needs my attention or dishes or laundry need doing :)

LOL! I totally agree about the Moby! I was shocked that that's all it was! I'm definately planning on making another one, but with less fabric since I have a TON extra after it's wrapped!

I'm really glad you liked the New Native Baby Sling! I looked at something similar but decided against it in the end because it seemed to me to do pretty much the same as a ring sling. But if you love it so much, maybe I'll look again! LOL.
