Excellent GOTCHA DAY or Adoption Gift

I just read the book my friend gave her daughter for Gotcha Day. It is a personalized child adoption story book that reflects their own adoption story. It gives the account of their family's adoption journey naming the city from which they adopted, some staff names who cared for her daughter in country, a detailed summary of the first day that they met, and who was waiting when they came home. There was more, but I can't remember everything at the moment. It also contained some touching adoption poetry. The book is really their own family's international adoption story in hard-cover in a child's story book format with great illustrations. She ordered it from

I love the idea!! I have never heard of the website or the book. I will be ordering one for my son Zachary who will be one on Easter!! Such a nice keepsake for him to read as he gets older.I will order one for my twin sister also who adopted my niece, who is now almost 9 years old. She will love it!!! Thanks for the great idea, it would make a great adoption gift also. Thanks, Denise.

WOW! Sounds like a beautiful book that will also become a cherished story to the child as they are old enough to read it & learn about their adoption story. Thanks for sharing the idea & the link for ordering for those that are interested. - Kelly (Mommy to Tucker, 18 mos old)

I noticed your name and I also am adopting twin girls from Korea. Can you tell me about your experience. I am waiting for the girls to come home and they are currently 8 months old. I would appreciate any input you may have.
