Started adoption March 2008
I will be praying like crazy until 10:22 tomorrow.
I am so sorry that you are going through all of this.
Parying and sending huggs!!!! I remember holding my girls and bawling my eyes out because I loved them so much and the thought of them not being with us forever tore my heart apart! Yes, a lot of us understand the pain. I don't know if there is much that is harder on a mom's heart! 10:22 come QUICK!!!!!!!
Thank you, Jorja, for my siggie!
I didn't see your post last night, but you came to mind as I was getting ready for bed & I said an extra prayer for everyone who loves Dylan to find peace. It's after 10:22am on the East Coast, but I'm still praying until we know the time has passed for you.
Most relationships in our lives are clearly defined by seeing others in similar relationships. Open adoption is not something most people have seen, so it's new & "scary". I commend you for your part in the open adoption, and think that this is such new territory for everyone in the relationship that it's just hard.
Many many hugs & prayers to you.
Prayers for you, Angie!!!
I agree with Kelly...we have an amazing open adoption with our DD's birthmom. But open adoption is not co-parenting. I hope you and PBM are able to come to an understanding regarding the openness of your adoption. And, that she and her family respect your place as Mommy.
Please let us know when the papers are signed and everything is a-ok!
Hi Ang.....I am sorry that I did not see this post sooner....I know that I am late chiming in, but there is something that I really needed to talk about.
I do understand why you took offense and I have to appoligize for that!
