I think that is a great idea....maybe tier your pricing.
Adrienne - I talked to a lady who made adoption profiles when we were in adoption search #1 (so back in 2000).
i looked into a couple places and they were SOOO expensive.
I think 200 is a lot too!I was thinking $100 for a profile of 8-12 pages.
We looked into these... and the more I looked at them, the more I realized I could do it myself
I have looked around and having someone make your profile for you seems to be sooo expensive. Now if it was something I was doing on the side I would probably charge per page and charge additionally if I had to purchase any digital items for the book. I actually was looking into doing digital scrapbooking for others and charging them $5 per page for my time and efforts and then if I had to order anything or download anything for a price, there would be more $$ involved. I ended up not doing it at this point because my time is focused elsewhere.
Ugghhh - I've been trying to respond on this new format ... and it really does just keep giving me a headache.
We paid $150 for ours, which include 5 laminated copies and some cool 3D embellishments on each copy. The person who did ours worked at our agency (this was a side business) so she spoke with our caseworker directly and got approval.
I think $100 is a really good price; I would EXPECT it to cost $200 to $300, and then I would decide to do it myself because I didn't want to pay for it.
Our facilitator offered this service, and I paid them $325 to do our profile because I didn't think I could make a digital one.
What a great idea, and making a profile is difficult! We have to make ours in January so who knows, maybe I will have you design it!
