I know it's not funny, but I had to giggle picturing him telling this lady the story. I'm sure I can picture her face..."Ohhhh oooookay then!"

I do think it's great that he feels confident in his place in the family and isn't afraid to tell someone about himself. But at the same time, you're right, he doesn't need to share EVERYthing....especially since the other part is really his brother's story to tell (or keep to himself).

So far my kids haven't really come out with too much about their birth family. Macy tell people how she had a pet lion in Africa and other weird things. I don't really know why. I'm not sure if she just feels like "hey, it's not like anyone will ever know." or if maybe she can't remember things from her life there so she just makes it up.
