TIme span Waiting period.

My adoption Agency (The Barker Foundation) told me from day 1 that it would take 2-3 years for me to adopt a Caucasian baby.
Has anyone had a similar experience and gone over the predicted time span which they were originally told?
It is 3 years next April, and I'm wondering what recourse if any I would have if there is still no baby by then.
First off - I am sorry you have been waiting so long.
Wow. I don't know the details of your situation at all, but you might want to consider the facilitator we used, her name is Nancy Hurwitz Kors. Her website is http://adopt-now.com. I was just thinking that our situation was so different - we became interested in using her in January of '09 and our son was born in May 09 - but then I remembered he isn't caucasian! But still, you might want to contact her and see. She's expensive but like I said, I don't know maybe your current agency is too.
Good luck. That wait is a killer.
Good luck in your wait, I will say a prayer for you! We are gender specific also and have been told it's going to be a bit long, our home study and agency sign up is not till this January since we are saving our pennies right now but I will be watching for your good news to be posted soon! Best wishes to you
