hi my LO is 8 mos and I'm wondering if i should still use slow flow nipples for expressed breast milk? she uses a sippy cup now for some juices and water. but she only has one sippy cup so for the purposes of convenience (cleaning etc), bottles would still be the best choice to leave with the sitter.

thanks!

I think it just depends on the baby. My DS is 18 months old and we are almost done with the bottles, but for the occasional bottle we have every now and then, we are still sticking with the level 1 nipple and he doesn't complaint yet.

So if the baby is not complaining why try to fix something that ain't broken.

We generally recommend sticking with the #1 or slow flow nipple throughout the entire time, so that the flow from the bottle more closely matches the flow from the breast.
