My right breast and nipple are burning.

The left one feels fine.

It feels like the nipple and areola have been dipped in acid. When Lily feeds afterwards my right breast burns for at least an hour.

She is a year old on Friday. It isn't her latch because it's the same.

The only difference I see in my right breast is I have a small white spot on the nipple. But it doesn't really look like the pics of the milk blebs I have seen.

So I am at a loss.

Would a milk bleb make my whole breast burn and feel bad? Or just the nipple

Could it be thrush?

Well, I wondered that, but I didnt' think you could get it only on one side.

Maybe it's on both sides but I don't have symptoms? Is that possible?

Honestly, I'm not really sure if you can get thrush on one side. I have typically seen it on both but that doesn't mean it's not possible. If thrush is a possibility, don't use lanolin since it can harbor yeast. It can't hurt to start some entry-level thrush treatment like acidophilus and Monistat on the nipples. It just might help.
