I started reducing nursing sessions very very slowly after my baby turned a year, and had no set time to wean, but she suddenly just seems to have decided that we are done.

Hey there :) I am not a 'member' of this board- but I read the post and had to tell you that my experience was similar when I weaned Montgomery. While you are nursing your body is still making those ever important hormones that you body makes during pregnancy, and when you aren't nursing anymore production of those hormones decreases, and some people end up with a second case of 'baby blues'- similar to the emotional issues that happen just after birth (when there is a dramatic decrease in the production of hormone) while the hormones readjust to their 'normal' levels. Hopefully you will feel better soon :o)

Most babies won't wean before 18 months. Some will of course, but I wonder if you're seeing something else, like
