decrease milk production

Hi. My daughter will be 7 months old on Sunday. I have been exclusively breastfeeding her. The last 2-3 weeks I have seen a steady decrease in my milk supply and occasionally for her last feeding around 8:00pm my milk won't even let down. I have started solids very slowly. She didn't take to them at first but the last couple days she has really like it. I've only added solids once a day and it doesn't replace a milk feeding so I don't think that has any affect on my supply.

For example, tonight I fed her at 7:45pm and it took probably 10 minutes for my milk to let down and when it did it didn't feel like much. When my daughter was done she still seemed "antsy" or hungry. I was at a friends house so I went home and took out a 6 ounce bottle of frozen breast milk and fed it to her. She ate the whole thing. I don't know how much she got from me but it couldn't have been much if she ate the whole 6 ounce

ITA with Paula. Take the solids a bit slowly. It’s ok to add them now but slooooowly.
